One folder of general family genealogies, clippings, and profiles is filed at the front of the series. The materials are arranged first according to the family member to which they pertain and then topically within' folders thereafter. The series is arranged in one and one-half boxes and includes biographical materials, clippings, correspondence, and genealogical records documenting several generations of the Deering family and its relationship to Northwestern University.
